Microenterprises
is non agricultural units dedicated to productive, commercial activities or of service, with a labor occupation of 1 to 10 permanent workers.

Small Companies
are non agricultural units of production, trade or service that have from 11 to 50 permanent workers.

Permanent workers
are all those used people or dedicated total or partially to the business, including the proprietor, independently that they receive or non remuneration for the carried out work.

Workers on time partial
they are hard-working permanent
that work less than 30 hours to the week or a part of the schedule of
weekly operation of the company.

Seasonal workers
are people hired coyunturalmente
to work for a certain period.

Companies preexistentes
are those units that were funcio nando in March of 1998 in an area certain censal and that they are property of a member of the home, and which continue operating under
similar conditions for March of 1999.

New companies
are those that didn't work in March of 1998, that you/they began their operations during the period of reference and that they were working in March of 1999.

Missing companies
are those business that you/they were working in March of 1998, but that for some reason in March of 1999 were not carrying out the same activity or they belonged to a different home.

Companies of short cycle
are those that were formed, they worked and they disappeared between March of 1998 and March of 1999.

Mobile companies
are those business that you/they operate without a fixed local and that in many occasions they have an itinerant character.
